Over the last several months, I’ve struggled quite a bit with my video uploads. In fact, you could say I failed at YouTube until I understood these core principles that have allowed me to surpass the YouTube algorithm as a small struggling channel.

You may think small, you have over 100,000 subscribers. But what I believe Mark’s channel success is how many viewers watch on an ongoing basis. And over the last few years that number is dwindle. However, in the last two years things have really picked up.

Most people won’t watch this entire video, what a shame because it contains countless tips and tactics that are based on what actually works. Nothing about special settings and YouTube. That doesn’t do it, nothing about when to upload again that doesn’t matter either. What matters is the viewer experience and making it easy for the YouTube algorithm to find the right audience for your videos. These methods work.
